You hold off writing the main clause and/or its predicate to the end instead of at the beginning or middle. In such placements, the crux of your sentence’s meaning does not become clear until the climax: you hold the reader’s attention to the last word, at or near the period (full stop), lending it greater dramatic emphasis:”
